Who's afraid of the big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? La, la, la, la!
Our F1 little piggies have been very busy building houses in our very own construction site. With bricks, trucks, diggers and dumpers, they have been really working hard to make their house as strong as possible so the big bad wolf won't be able to blow it down!
In our Funky Fingers table, we have been building our own models and shapes using tongue depressors and blu tack.
This week, we have also introduced different vocabulary words by playing BINGO. The children looked for a hod, wheelbarrow, door, house, pig, wolf, bricks, nails, hammer, ladder and truck.
For our workshop activities this week, we have made the 3 little pigs' houses by sticking sticks and straws and stamping. We have also made our own paintings of the 3 little pigs and the children came up with brilliant paintings!
In our malleable area, we have been completing the pig and the wolf's faces with the playdough. We have also been rolling dough into straw bales and houses.
All children have actively participated this week in an array of activities and we are very pleased with them! Well done children!
