F1 explored a variety of Science experiment last Tuesday with their families. All children showed great confidence in discovering and finding out about different things.
We had 5 different Science experiments.
First, we had the 'Pepper and Soap Experiment'. They were all amazed at how the pepper was repelled by the soap.
We also had 'Ice and Oil Experiment'. The children dropped the coloured ice cubes in to the oil and observed how coloured droplets were formed when they melted. They also noticed that the ice became jelly-like.
'Floating and Sinking' is also one experiment that the children engaged in. They tried different objects and discovered that some float and some sink in water.
The children also explored tea leaves. They smelt them, felt them and scooped them in to containers.
Using a stick, children also explored 'Musical Bottles'. With different amount of liquid in them, they made different sound pitches.
Lastly, children and their parents joined in looking at 'Optical Illusions'. They were very tricky but we had some good eyes in our F1 Family!
A big thank you for all of you who joined us in this fun and exciting afternoon. Your presence made it more special!
We would also like to thank all of you for a wonderful term 2. The children have shown progress and we are very proud of them!
